Takis Shelter has grown so much since its humble beginnings! With over 450 animals, Takis can no longer do this alone — it requires a dedicated team of full time maintenance staff and adoption coordinators, as well as long-term volunteers here on the ground in Ierapetra. We are also very fortunate to have a generous team of international volunteers who help us share our story with the world.
